Moreover, he volunteers with the Ethiopian Diabetic Association at Black Lion Hospital for consultation and laser treatment. DR. SADIN HAILU
Consultant OphthalmologistDr. Sadin Hailu is a graduate of Jimma University School of Medicine. He is trained in General Ophthalmology at INTEC University and Hospital Elias Santana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 2011. He has also done his specialization in Vitreous and Retina diseases and surgeries in Hospital Elias Santana and INTEC in 2013. He has also completed a rigorous training in clinical trials fromKoroniskiInstitute, Sweden in 2016.
Dr. SadinHailu hasbeen practicing General Ophthalmology andRetina since 2014 in AddisAbaba, Ethiopia at a private clinic. He is also involved in teaching OphthalmologyResident at St Paul Millennium Medical College since 2015.
Dr. Sadin Hailu is also involved in voluntary services since2015 at Black Lion Hospital for Ethiopian diabetic patient association for patients with diabetic retinopathy. Types of surgeries he does ranges from small incision cataract surgery, phacoemulsification, retinal detachment surgeries, scleral buckling, macular hole and epiretinal membrane surgeries.
